Author Guidelines

Authors submitting to The Learnaholics Academy Africa Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (TLAAJMR) are required to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth submission and review process. Failure to follow these instructions may result in delays or rejection of the manuscript.

1. Manuscript Format

  • File Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Length: Manuscripts should generally be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Font and Spacing: Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced throughout, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Sections: Submissions should typically include the following sections:
    • Title Page (with author names and affiliations)
    • Abstract (150-250 words)
    • Keywords (4-6 relevant keywords)
    • Introduction
    • Literature Review
    • Methodology
    • Results and Discussion
    • Conclusion
    • References
  • Tables and Figures: All tables and figures should be placed within the text, with clear labels and captions.

2. Bibliographic and Formatting Standards

Authors are required to use the APA 7th Edition citation and referencing style. All in-text citations must be matched with an entry in the reference list. The following are examples of common citation formats:

  • Two Authors: (Johnson & Lee, 2020)
  • Three or More Authors: (Anderson et al., 2019)

3. Submission Process

  • All manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system.
  • Authors will be required to provide a cover letter detailing the significance of their research and confirming that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • Authors must ensure their manuscript is free from plagiarism. Submissions are subject to plagiarism checks using plagiarism detection software.

4. Subject Matter

TLAAJMR accepts original research articles, case studies, reviews, and theoretical papers in the fields of:

  • Social Sciences (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science)
  • Humanities (e.g., History, Philosophy, Literature)
  • Business and Management (e.g., Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship)
  • Technology and Innovation (e.g., Information Technology, Fintech, Digital Transformation)

5. Ethical Considerations

  • All submissions must comply with ethical research standards. Authors should provide information on funding, conflicts of interest, and approval from relevant ethics committees where applicable.
  • Any form of unethical behavior, including plagiarism, data fabrication, or improper authorship, will result in immediate rejection.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
